Manufacturers of medium & large capacity transformers when under time/cost pressure tend to make some manufacturing/design variations. The variances are generally noticed after the manufacturing tests are conducted and only when compared to sister units. Recently, for a couple of cases, deviations were noticed but at the stage of commissioning when hardly any thing can be done.
