Recently, India achieved 5th global position in solar power. Solar power capacity has increased by more-than 11 times in the last five years from 2.6 GW in March, 2014 to 30 GW in July, 2019. National Institute-of Solar Energy has assessed the Country's solar potential of about 748 GW. Currently India has an-installed capacity of around 60GWAC[1], new solar connections helps in unlocking this potential of the-country therefore stability study of the network before permitting the connection with its electrical system is very crucial. In this paper we would like to share the methodology to analyze the technical feasibility & impact of new solar connection on Distribution electrical network.
