As we know transposition of phases are carried out for long transmission lines. In India generally for lines longer than 100 km transposition is carried out. Transposition of transmission line phases is intended for reducing the unbalance of current and voltage in normal operation mode of electric system and for limiting-the obstructive influence of transmission lines to low-frequency transmission channel. In this paper we-will be discussing about transposition arrangement for double circuit transmission lines with all 3 phases-of circuit in vertical configuration.
