Socio economic condition plays an important role in acquiring quality education. Students’ results are influenced by the educational resources which are based on parents’ economic condition and literacy of parents. Families with high socio economic status often are more successful in preparing their young children for higher education. For doing this research on the socio-economic status of their parents, 600 students are selected from different colleges, junior colleges and higher secondary schools of Kokrajhar district.
