Abstract

A field experiment was undertaken to study the nutrient uptake in pearl millet-wheat cropping system influenced by various fertilizer levels applied through organic and inorganic sources. The investigation was carried out at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar consisting of 12 treatments laid out in randomized block design during 2009–10. The findings showed that integrated nutrient supply had beneficial effect on yield and enhanced the microbes’ counts and establishment of soil.
