Crotalaria hebecarpa is a prostate herb with slender branches belonging to the family Fabaceae. Though the identity and distribution of the plant is known, but its medicinal uses, phytochemicals and their mechanisms are not known. In the present paper, we are reporting the pharmacological evaluation of ethanol extracts of leaf using standard pharmacological methods. Our results indicated that the plant leaf contains bioactive molecules needed for eliciting potent activity with low IC50 values for the activities of 5-Lipooxygenase, Tyrosinae and Acetyl cholinesterase. Our results also indicated that the plant leaf extract is not having potency, a reflection of lack of required bio active molecules for inducing effective activity against biological activities, like cytotoxicity and αglycosidase inhibition activity. Neverther the less, the results reveal the very potent activity of extract against acetyl cholinesterase, 5-lipoxygenase and tyrosinase activities. However, more detailed investigations need to be carried out for isolation and characterization of bioactive molecules responsible for observed activities.
