Abstract

The present paper covers the nature and process of political philosophy taking into compass the normative approach and descriptive approach to a limited extent. This helped to highlight the major political concerns in India after independence. India is a culturally and politically diversified nation. The journey, adoption and development of democratic set up after independence was a great challenge and threat to any political development. How the constitution of India shaped creating India as sovereign nation helped bringing harmony amongst diverse political views forms the core of this paper.
