Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 of India marks a transformative shift in the country’s education system, aiming to make it more inclusive, flexible, and suited to the 21st-century needs. This paper explores the significant role technology plays in the NEP 2020, examining its impact on various educational facets such as accessibility, pedagogy, teacher training, and administrative efficiency. By analyzing policy documents, academic literature, and current implementations, this study elucidates how technology is leveraged to achieve NEP’s goals and identifies the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Through this analysis, the paper provides insights into the potential of technology to bridge educational divides, enhance learning experiences, and improve the overall effectiveness of the Indian education system in alignment with the ambitious vision of NEP 2020.
