Rethinking Gender Equality in Science and Technology

Science and technology have a big influence on how quickly civilization is developing. Its importance is recognized by governments in both wealthy and developing countries. Women’s involvement in this profession, however, still falls short of expectations. Women are still notably under-represented in many degree programs, despite efforts to increase their entrance to science and technology, according to study. Girls and women still face barriers to effective participation in science at all levels, including research and teaching, despite some progress over the years. Women still make up a minority in science-related disciplines and fields, with only 33% of researchers worldwide being female, as stated by the UNESCO Science Report. Normal working conditions as well as gender equality are significant facets for both men and women, and this research seeks to concentrate on them with an Indian context. For corrective purposes, it is intended to analyze and document the likely reason of this discrepancy.
