Tribal leadership for reservation only after 73rd revision - Chandrapur district in special context

All castes and creeds in the Indian democratic system did not have to fight for their political and social rights like in the West. Even though they were included in the Indian Constitution, as an alternative to this situation, under the 73rd Amendment to the Constitution, reservations were implemented in Gram Panchayats, PanchayatSamiti, Zilla Parishads for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Even in the case of local body elections, the leadership in the open category is very low. The research has given the tribal community the opportunity to lead, but Chandrapur district, known as the tribal district, has not had any opportunity to lead in the open category, which means that the community still appears to be politically backward.
