Abstract

India is an agricultural country 65% of India's population is dependent on agriculture The number of people dependent on agriculture is high in India but agriculture is not developed to that extent Agriculture productivity is low There are many reasons for low agricultural productivity. Agricultural marketing is a process in which the goods produced by the farmers are sold to the farmers at the price they get due to indebtedness. All the stages that take place till the produce is in the hands of the final consumer are included in the agri marketing process. They are exploited by giving less children. In market malpractice, for example, buying and selling information, keeping secret scales, weights and measures, unnecessary deductions from prices, brokers and traders colluding with each other, cheating farmers by buying farm produce at low prices. Increasing market capitalism and poverty Farmers need to overcome the difficultiesof agriculturalmarketinginIndiatoget justice by getting theirgoods atafair price.
