In the post-Independence period, industrialization in India gained momentum, which accelerated the process of civilization. And the scarcity of space created a very limited area of housing, making it impossible to accommodate large families. As a result, the problems of the elderly seem to be on the rise. Old age also leads to financial and physical dependence and this leads to many problems. The growing rate of aging from 1951(6.3%) to 2001(7.4%) is a matter of concern. On this, it has been decided to formulate and implement welfare schemes for the elderly under the welfare state. Out of this, providing social security to the elderly has become an important task of these Organization. Organizations like this should also work to keep the elderly in the last stages of life as happy and healthy as possible. Assistance is also provided in the form of old age medical hospitals, subsistence funds, health services. Various service future Organizations were formed to extend a helpless orphans. Efforts like this seem to have contributed to providing a socialprotection to theelderly.
