The concepts of woman empowerment are changing with time. They were not denied to get an education during 1700-1800 this period. At the time of Mahatma Jyotiba Fule, it was the need of the hour to educate woman for their empowerment. She did not have any separate Identity though she was educated. Indira Gandhi became first prime minister of India between 1966 to 1984. And she became a source of inspiration to all women. After that Pratibhatai Patil was honoured to become the first woman President of India. Nowadays scenario has change and woman are working in every field. Government of India has implemented a lot of welfare schemes for women. In present time need of empowering for today's woman to strengthen their health, safety, financial dependence, conservation of their abilities, and respect for society. Swami Vivekanand said also, without the improvement of the status of women there is no possibility of world welfare.
