There are large number of migrant workers in Maharashtra in stone quarry firms but the government has no special legislation to protect them or ensure their safety. The Maharashtra State government should legislate some laws for domestic workers protection act or the construction building workers act to stone quarry workers. He has also demanded Govt. should also constitute stone quarry Migrant workers board and to pass stone quarry Migrant workers protection act.
