Abstract

Malnutrition is a medical condition that occurs due to a lack or excess of one or more nutrients. Consequences of Malnutrition are under nutrition, over nutrition or imbalanced nutrition. Most Indians either have a lack of nutrients in their diet or an excess of nutrients, a proper balanced diet is not consumed. The diet of the poverty-stricken population of India is inadequate in terms of quality as well as quantity. Nowadays, Malnutrition is not only seen in underdeveloped nations but also in developing nations of the world.
