Abstract

Movements are the engine of change for the comparatively better position and status of life with a motto of public welfare. Success of movement depends upon the people's participation and style of participation. I have analyzed the different type of movement, way of participation in particular movement and impact of such movements on development. I have categorized different type of movement in two parts. First one is Leader-centric movement and second is People-centric movement. I have developed “The organized anarchy model of development” on the basis of John W. Kingdon's ‘The organized anarchy model’ for behavioural analysis and its impact on development.
