The State Government required efficient and dynamic health organisation at the state level to ensure effective and efficient primary health-care delivery system at all the levels within the state, especially, at the grass root and rural level. In the subsequent paragraphs, the organisational structure of health-care machinery in the state of Haryana is shown. The Health Department, Haryana, is committed to provide quality health services and raise the health status of its people. The health services are being provided through a network of 50 hospitals (including Hospital of Medical College, Rohtak), 86 community health centres, 420 primary health centres, 2,433 sub-centres (SCs), 20 district T.B. centres, 41 dispensaries, Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Rohtak and a Medical College at Agroha (Hisar) and Mullana (Ambala).
