Abstract

There are several ways in which the act of privatising public sector firms can have a positive impact on the productivity of variables such as personnel, financial performance, and performance efficiency. This study will demonstrate the degree to which the Jordanian privatisation initiative has influenced these dimensions for several historically public sector organisations, and this will be achieved by establishing a conceptual model to account for the impacts on the target variables. By disseminating a questionnaire to a sample group of participants, which includes employees in Jordanian public sector firms, relevant data has been collected, the analysis of which has provided an indication of the impact that privatisation has on performance efficiency, employee productivity, and financial performance.
