Organisational development (OD) has become a substantial field for practitioners to improve organisational effectiveness and capabilities of individuals through planned change intervention. The focal point of the article is to critically evaluate the four subsystems-communication structure, control system, education system and reward system in building a healthy infrastructure for OD intervention as suggested by McEwan. The review article summarises the previous investigation and identifies gaps, contradictions and inconsistencies of the article titled ‘Organisational Development: Begin with a Healthy Infrastructure’.
