Governments around the world are constantly searching for ways to serve all sections of life as part of ensuring inclusive governance, and in that the use of ICT tools, including the Internet, is one of the conspicuous strategies. In Bangladesh, the theme of ‘Digital Bangladesh’ is such an initiative. This paper, thus, focuses on the ICT practice of working women in Bangladesh and compares the experiences from urban and rural perspectives. Based on the findings, the paper explores the probable causes of differences and concludes that the discrepancy in ICT practice might be the outcome of social, economic, and educational realities.
