Abstract

Land is the most valuable resource in the world. In Bangladesh, its value is very high because the population density of Bangladesh is also high. But the land management system in Bangladesh is not up to the mark. The land offices are to provide different types of services to a large number ofpeople regularly. The citizens face many kinds of problems when they go to land offices to get the required benefits. The study explores that most land officials are happy with the quality of the provided services. At the same time, the citizens are also more or less pleased with the quality of services. However, they have complained against the land offices regarding some issues like corruption, misbehavior, laziness, etc., of the land officials. The process of service delivery is also lengthy. Both the land officials and the citizens agree that existing land officials can provide online land services. Most of them are satisfied with the existing accessibility to ICTs. Many of them have a personal e-mail address, and they are more or less happy with the official e-mail, computer accessories at the workplace, internet connection at the workplace, etc. So, the government has the opportunity to digitize land administration and resolve many land-related problems.
