Abstract

“While most of the developing states are describe as a political and economic unstable zone. Civil Society occupies an important position in the democratization of the state. It plays a countervailing role and keeps the state accountable to the people. Civil Society in developing states are in its formative stages and not yet in a position to discharge its mandate effectively. However, there are other areas in which civil society has achieved measurable results in development of the state.”
