The present investigation was planned to assess genetic diversity for yield, yield contributing traits and quality traits in three hundred indigenous germplasm of bread wheat. The germplasm along with 4 checks were evaluated in augmented design at the Crop Research Centre of G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar during 2008–09. On the basis of dissimilarity coefficient, these genotypes were grouped into twenty three clusters each having certain mean value for characters under study. The genotypes bearing desired value from different clusters can be used in breeding program for improvement of yield as well as quality characters.
