Abstract

This paper takes a look at the renovations and innovations in the Nigerian education system, with particular emphasis on procedures, methodology, ideas that have been improved upon and modified in the Nigerian education system, which could help in the achievement of a better education system and the realization of the national policy on education shall also be examined. It also highlights the achievement of the present education system, its challenges and also proffers solutions to the observed problems strategies for growth and development are made known so as to have a better Nigerian education system which will not only appeal to the coming generations, but will be able to forestall/foreseen future societal problems. Finally, the recommendations here are carefully studied and analytical suggestions which have been discovered from past educational system that can be put in place by relevant authorities.
