Abstract

As teachers or administrators working in schools today, we are confronted on a daily basis with a myriad of questions, issues, concerns, and problems dealing with children, parents, curriculum and resources. Throughout the nation, teachers and administrators are being challenged to collaboratively investigate the effectiveness of research-based instructional practices currently used in classrooms to improve student learning. In order to find the solution of the various problems in classrooms Action Research is to be introduced in the Teaching Learning Process. This paper will answer the question “What is Action Research?” stating what action research is and what it is not, to highlight the persistent use of native language in the pronunciation of English Language words.
