The pre test scores for the component A, B, C and D ranged between 55.6 to 75%, 54.1 to 71.27% 51.49 to 71.27% and 63.81 to 76.12% respectively. The post test scores of Component A, B, C and D showed an increase between 10.32 to 33.22%, 13.43 to 27.99%, 12.31 to 30.19% and 10.45 to 19.87% respectively. The statistical analysis of pre and post scores revealed a significant (p<0.01) increase in the awareness of all the components of the Orientation Programme.
