Information Science is treated as applied Science domain, though Information Science has enough possibilities to become an Engineering/Technology domain. This paper is takes about this possibilities, challenges and opportunities.

Information Science is a wonderful name in the field of Applied Science. However potentiality is there to introduce Engineering Field. Paper highlighted so many aspects including way to introduce IS in the Academics or Engineering field.
