Informal economy is an important source of livelihood for the poor. People in rural and urban areas are depending oninformal sectors and earntheir daily life. Women vegetable vendors in Moreh and Tlabung are working hard to earn their livelihood through their business in spite of their disadvantages. This paper attempt to highlight and compare the working condition, educational qualification, status in the family and in the society, economic empowerment and challenges faced in Moreh and Tlabung towns.
