Abstract

This study assessed the operations strategy of Air Bed and Breakfast as a basis for an enhanced business model. This study employed a quantitative and descriptive design. A total of two hundred (200) were respondents selected through purposive sampling: one hundred (100) hosts/providers, and one hundred (100) users/guests. This study answered how the respondents assessed the operations strategy of Airbnb in terms of accessibility, affordability, amenities, competition, convenience, safety & security, and problems encountered by the respondents. Frequency and percentage, ranking, weighted mean, and T-Test to interpret the significance and test the null hypothesis were used to interpret the collected data. Based on the findings, the study concluded that both groups of respondents partly agreed on the operational strategy of Airbnb in terms of accessibility, affordability, amenities, competition, and safety and security. While respondents agreed on its operations strategy in terms of convenience, the results showed that there was no significant difference in the assessment of the two groups of respondents. The decision on the null hypothesis was accepted.
