The pastilla’s wrapping, or “Pabalat,” makes it unique. This study’s overarching goal is to revive the amazing “Pabalat,” a form of art that is rapidly disappearing in San Miguel, Bulacan. Through interviews with residents of San Miguel, Bulacan, who are passionate about creating the pastillas “pabalat,” this acquired and compiled the data that addressed the problem of the dying art that is “pabalat”. Although it can be said that the Town of San Miguel, Bulacan is gradually changing with time due to modernization, fortunately, some traces of the “Pabalat” Pastillas Wrapping Industry can still be seen here because some have been transferred to work here. The town that has been carved by history and strengthened by time still has traces of its rich culture and artistic heritage-the aspiration of the inhabitants of San Miguel, guided by the honorable father of the Municipality, Hon. Roderick DG Tiongson is continuing this initiative and building a platform where everyone can be given a chance to revive the art and tradition, they are proud of with the assistance of the Local Tourism Office of San Miguel and PHACTO-Bulacan. As research and discovery progressed, it became more apparent that there are still cultural practices, traditions, and a significant Christian presence in the region.
