Abstract

Rabbit farming is an emerging agricultural practice in Bulacan with significant potential as a form of farm tourism. This study explores the viability of rabbit farming not only as a source of sustainable income for local farmers but also as a unique attraction for tourists interested in eco-friendly and educational farm experiences. Rabbit farming offers a range of economic benefits, including low-cost maintenance, rapid reproduction rates, and valuable by-products such as meat, fur, and organic fertilizer. By incorporating farm tourism, Bulacan can capitalize on rabbit farming's appeal, attracting visitors through hands-on activities, guided tours, and educational workshops. This approach could foster agricultural awareness, promote local products, and stimulate economic growth in rural areas. The findings suggest that rabbit farming could be a sustainable and profitable avenue for both agricultural production and tourism, enhancing Bulacan's rural economy and contributing to environmental awareness.
