Abstract

As believers who intend to become witnesses to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, known as eschaton, the occurrence of the Rapture, our Catholic Faith leads us to manifest faith, love, and charity, the Order of St. Augustine's Charism. Our respective personal journey is to traverse life with caution, courage, and commitment to be “perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48). Perfection may only be attained through constant practice of the virtues, values, and verses prescribed in the Holy Scripture (Munez, 2018), as we are constantly under the divine, trinitarian watch. This paper applies the modified personal balanced scorecard developed by Munez (2018), inspired by Kaplan and Norton's Balanced Scorecard (Kaplan and Norton, 1992:71-79) among the Accountancy students of La Consolacion University of the Philippines. This paper introduced a monitoring system that Consolanians may adopt to facilitate the assessment and evaluation of our respective Christian lives. The personal balanced scorecard is anchored on the personal mission, vision, and strategies for salvation and spiritual bliss done individually by the Accountancy students under the following perspectives of Christian living: Temporal, Rituals and Worship, Learning and Growth, and Brethren. There are no guarantees for eternal salvation and spiritual bliss. Let this personal balanced scorecard be a warranted teaching innovation to life-long learning, grounded in Catholic Social Teachings, for the prospective, productive, and quality professional lives of our Consolanian Accountancy learners.
