Abstract

Self-assessment and business excellence models provide a framework for excellence to the companies. Of all the international excellence awards, Deming Prize is the most coveted one, and organizations adopt this award model to get their priorities right on the business front. The paper presents a case, and taken up as a research study of an auto-component manufacturing Indo-Japanese venture, in the backdrop of Deming model.
