Flexibility in Maintenance: A Framework

Flexible system management has brought a concept of flexibility in all spheres of production, day to day life activities, people, culture etc. While extensive literature is available on flexibility in production management, no work is reported on flexibility in maintenance management. In this paper, a conceptual framework has been presented on this concept and few attributes discussed with an organizational case presented justifying this concept. Future researchers working in this area will find this gap interesting.
