Reeducation of Humankind-Journey from being human to being humane

India is no longer an identity to be looked down upon. It has emerged as a major global power with a strong economic background. But, as it is always quoted ‘You lose something, to gain something” and unfortunately we have lost our VALUES among youth. Among Indian civilization and culture, values are always considered as foundation stone to develop a healthy character in human beings and ultimately healthy society with a value rich culture. So, the need of hour, today is to develop a strong execution plan to rebuild a value rich culture. In this paper, a systematic attempt has been made to illustrate the need to make our youth imbibe values, as emphasized in framed policy documents of our government for developing the spirit of communal harmony.
