Abstract

The paper explains the conceptual nuances of sense of belonging in varying social constructs, with a focus on schools in particular. The main purpose of the paper is to investigate the concept of student's sense of belonging through the use of a media article on Delhi government's recent policy initiative. The content of the article has been summarised and critiqued, while the policy has been problematised and evaluated.
