Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between inclusive educational practices, community integration initiatives and long-term empowerment outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through analysis of thirty-five educational and social integration variables across four comparison groups, the study identifies critical success factors in achieving sustainable inclusion. Findings demonstrate that effective inclusion requires coordinated efforts across institutional, familial and community domains rather than merely educational policy implementation. When individuals with intellectual disabilities receive support through well-designed inclusive settings, evidence-based instructional practices and consistent community assistance, they demonstrate notable progress in academic learning, social development, vocational readiness and quality-of-life outcomes. This study contributes to contemporary understanding of inclusive education as a comprehensive social transformation process and provides empirical support for policy reforms prioritizing equity, accessibility and universal design principles.
