Abstract

The present article is an attempt to explore the role of ICT in teacher educational dimensions’ to promote Socio-psycho and techno pedagogic cultural adaptabilities, which is an essential requirement for any change to be ushered from traditional dimensions. Thus, the issue that arises, how does a teacher keep pace with the growth of ICT? The emergence of information and communication technology (ICT) has ushered in a new era it has influenced every sector of the society, that is, trade, industry, science technology including education and training. ICT includes devices for encoding, storing, organizing, processing, retrieving, transferring, and presenting information with the help of telecommunication; there is a dire need to use ICT in teacher training institutions to build I.K.B.S. (Indian knowledge based society). If we use ICT based teaching in our teacher training colleges than only we can promote ICT in the Indian educational system.
