Abstract

Constructivism is basically a theory based on observation and scientific study, i.e. about how people learn Traditional concept considers teacher as a transmitter of knowledge and student as a passive receptors. On the contrary constructivism assumes teacher as a facilitator of learning and students are active learners who constructs their own knowledge with help of their previous experiences and varied learning experiences provided by the facilitator. Present paper discusses on some of the constructivist methods and their effect on Academic Achievement of primary graders.
