Education is considered to be significant system to advance human resources in a fruitful direction. In the present study an attempt has been made to ascertain the impact of level of education on attitude towards modernity and vocational interest. Difference in attitude towards modernity and vocational interest were found out on a sample of students studying at higher secondary level and higher education level, with the help of ‘t’ test. No significant differences were found in attitude towards modernity regarding different areas such as parent child relationship, marriage and status of women etc. While considering the vocational interest of students studying at higher secondary and higher educational level significant differences were found in some interest areas, while no difference was found in the other. The findings of the study suggest that although education broadens one's attitude towards life, interests and values etc, but these attitudes begin to develop early and are generally fully developed upto adult hood, Hence it is the duty of parents, teachers and counselors to develop healthy attitudes and interests in their children.
