Parental Behaviour is one of the vital factors in the development of child. Parental behaviour refers to the treatment originating from parents towards the child with a view to enhance the possibilities of future occurrences of good behaviour by care, concern, approval and guidance. Most of the children feel close and positive about their parents and seek their parent's approval.
Level of Aspiration refers to the assessment of an individual of his own abilities in achieving certain level of performance or in the achievement of certain expected goals. It therefore, presupposes a goal, which an individual sets up for himself. Goals may be either too high or too or somewhere between these two extremes. This paper is an attempt to find out the relationship between children's perception about parenting style and their level of aspiration.
On the bases of results and finding it can be concluded that some dimensions of parental behaviour is related with level of aspiration of students.
