Need of innovations in teacher education

Education in its broadest sense presupposes a better understanding of teaching & learning. Teachers are suppose to be able to impart their knowledge through the many approaches, methods and techniques at their disposal. Teaching for instance, require a basic skill in explaining Abstract concepts. Teaching must be very interesting that can help the students to solve the many problems they face. What is needed today is the cooperation between teachers & students in finding the solutions to the problems of teaching & learning.
