There was a dialectical relationship between the teacher becomes a part of colonial state apparatus with the knowledge development of the students, because school knowledge of the students was supposed to have no relationship with a child's everyday reality which was organized around local and cultural practices of the child itself.
This paper has been written with the concern to analyze such colonial ideologies which is still running in the recent time with several modernist and neoliberal concerns in the formation of policies, provisions and practices in education in varying ways. But we need to understand all these concepts from its colonial origin to the gradual development of policy formulations in its post colonial period.
