Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) problems of today especially in the small scale industries and medium sized firms have changed their legal course and the management of these problems has of late started showing a big problem, both legally and financially. The desired norms pertaining to OHSE are continually changing both at the national as well as global levels. The solution lies in the installation of OHSE programs on one and also updating them from time to time, which is proving to be a big challenge for the industrial units. The problem gets further acute when industrial units are located in developing nations like India, where management of industrial units might have to encounter a level of preparedness in terms of OHSE, for which a sound infrastructure, as of now, is not available when we compare availability of the same in developed nations. In the present scenario of industrial activities, litigations and scrutiny by agencies like inspection houses, NGOs, public prosecutors, shareholders, and other regulatory bodies are found to be getting multiplied day by day. Under these circumstances, the management of OHSE affair poses a big challenge to the industrial units. The present paper made an attempt to propose a working solution to the OHSE problems pertaining to the medium and small scale industries by way of utilisation of the internet-based emerging technology.
