Agile software development methodology is a method for developing software in the same way as traditional waterfall model, iterative waterfall model etc. The most common approach used for developing software is Waterfall Model. This model has various disadvantages like untimed delivery, out of budget development, incorrect product and many more. Agile model works on iterative together with incremental approach which works on downward approach dissimilar to waterfall model. There are certain methodologies that falls under the umbrella of Agile Model. These methodologies help in handling unstable requirements, productivity gains and business alignment. In this paper, an attempt is made to inspect various methodologies that are following Agile Model and to explain how the Epics are converted to user stories.
