A recommender system using machine learning algorithms

Product recommendation is a part of e-business which is widely used in e-commerce. It gives the information related to the user searching query. The information extracted from the pattern of previously searched query which can be used into the relevant search prediction for the user. The development of a recommender system for products using a machine learning algorithm often has questions that must be evaluated, so software engineers have good idea about research efforts area. The system provides users to explore new products of their interests and has been using machine learning algorithms. There are number of machine learning algorithm for a recommender system described in the literature. This paper presents a review of the literature which analyzes the use of machine learning algorithms for product recommendation. It identifies the opportunities for researchers in the field of software engineering. The paper concludes that Bayesian and decision tree are widely used algorithms in product recommendation.
