Abstract

In this paper, various latest published works based on the wavelet transform and its applications in image processing are reviewed. Every day tremendously increasing data in the shape of the digital image is a difficult job for current digital world technology to tackle. Wavelet transform is now considered as a growing tool in the world transform domain. Wavelet transforms along with various techniques acting a vital role in image processing, like image enhancement, image compression, image de-noising etc, to protect image- based user information from a digital image (raw image) and also decrease the real image storage.
