A Parametric Study of Solid Waste Management System for Sohna City (India)

Abstract

Sohna city has always been limited in access to waste collection services and processing facilities. As a result, their behaviors of disposing of waste in effective manners such as dumping and burning cause a variety of environmental impacts. Besides, the people dwelling in these areas are often unaware of the health risks associated with these types of engagements because of the inadequate education system. For a long time these circumstances have remained untouched; it is, therefore, select and organize the proper disposal of solid waste material. The present study is developed in order to give a proper solution to minimize the environmental impact and health impacts of solid waste in developing cities.
