Abstract

Scarcity of Resources plays an important role in shaping the green status of an industry. If the industry is automobile sector, it becomes more important as the industry has to rely on a large variety of resources in its input. With growing concern for environment friendly products, the companies are now focusing on recycle and reuse of products to save energy, environment and resources as a whole. The present work tries to put forward an estimation of valuation of scarcity of resources as a factor in terms of certain parameters. The method used is based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to develop the relations. These findings reveal a linear relationship among different parameters and the scarcity of resources factor which have been plotted on an x-y scale. By using these relations, an organization can easily increase the usefulness of this factor for the organization.
