A close observation of e-learning in the perspectives of open education, moocs and higher education scenario in India

Abstract

Convergence based on the current environment and deviation due to lack of constant charm occur in the globalized ICT based education. Irresistibly alluring e-learning in the times of accessible equity has expanded the opportunities among the learners. The article provides a viewpoint and close observation of OE and learners’ interactivity and inter linkage patterns along with glimpses of contemporary challenges of open education learners. To review and analyze the contemporary challenges and issues in literature related to knowledge delivery and open education (OE), and learners around the globe, especially in developing countries. Accordingly, the present article has endeavored to provide observations to policy-makers, instructors, open learning trainers, stakeholders and others to design initiatives in the context of UGC and tools to leverage the open education in farreaching areas of sectors.
